Tennis & Gymnastics Breakfast & After-School Classes | Autumn 2021 | Course Information

Due to new COVID-19 restrictions and to ensure that we are meeting all of the government guidelines and individual school policies, we are in the process of confirming all of our class informatio nfor the Autumn Term.

We are very excited to be able to return to as much coaching as we are able.

Tennis and Gymnastics classes will continue to grow, where possible, so please contact your school or us directly with any booking enquiries. For tennis club classes - please click here.

We will ensure that we are adhering to all of the requirements necessary to create a safe and fun learning environment for your child.

Tennis will continue to develop the techniques of all the major shots, getting the children to learn how to rally & play points with the aim to increase your child’s confidence & life skills, whilst having fun in a safe and stimulating environment.

Gymnastics will continue to develop floor work including: rolls, balances, travelling, tumbling, sequences & choreography.  We are introducing elements of yoga and mindfulness using their core values: strength, stamina, flexibility and promoting mental health & wellbeing to compliment our gymnastics sessions.

19th March 2020 | Coronavirus (COVID-19)

We hope you are well & that this week has not been too stressful for you all.

Following the closure of all schools from tomorrow onwards, we can confirm that none of our classes will be running next week.  As promised we have applied all relevant credits to your accounts & these are valid for a whole year from today - 19th Mar 20.   This means you can use the credit on any of our term time courses or holiday camps within this period.

Thank you to those of you who have already paid for next term, for any sessions that cannot run next term - we will either provide longer sessions once we do restart or place a credit on your account.

In relation to our Easter Multi-Activity camps: it is still unknown at this stage whether or not we will be able to run based during the Easter holidays on the Government recommendations and guidelines - more information will follow when we know more.  We do hope that we can go ahead as we think it is going to be very important to keep our children active: mentally & physically fit during this challenging & uncertain period, however, we also have to take the right precautions for those at high risk.

If this current situation is going to last for a few months then we are already thinking of ways in which we could run some smaller group or private sessions for children & adults at our clubs in Barnstaple, Braunton & Chulmleigh that would ensure we kept social distancing & would not impact the spread of Covid-19.  Tennis is one of the sports that can be done with no contact & social distancing ensured - more on this to follow once things settle down.

In the meantime we wish you & all of your families well.
