The Devonshire Tennis Academy
where sporting excellence meets Devonian family values
About Us
Discover the family behind the Devonshire Tennis Academy

The Devonshire Tennis Academy is a family-run tennis coaching academy, born out of a love for tennis, coupled with Devonian family values, where our love of coaching is matched only by your child’s unique love of learning!
We have been delivering tennis, gymnastics and a variety of other sports across North Devon for over six years. We run our classes out of two venues: Park Lane Tennis Club and Braunton Tennis Club and have partnered with fifteen schools, as well as the prestigious Saunton Sands Hotel.
We coach over four hundred juniors every week, whilst also now supporting some of our elite players through competitive tennis tournaments, where we have seen some real success stories this year. We love grass roots tennis, players of all ages and abilities, including adults, whether beginners, club players, or on the tour.
Rob enjoys the performance side of coaching, having played to a high level and still delivering a devastating serve, he coaches juniors and adults alike to achieve their fullest potential, on & off the court. Whether you are a novice tennis player or an experienced baseline dominator - Rob will deliver the kind of session that will leave you wanting to perform better for yourself, wanting to achieve better results on court and thirsty for more.
Naomi relishes every opportunity to connect with a new player, with three small humans hot on her coaching heels, she knows that finding a teaching style to suit the individual is key. As a creative person from a theatrical background, Naomi can turn any tennis court into a stage, any player into the hero of the piece and any activity into a measure for measure, pitting mentality against racquet and athlete against opposition.
We are confident that, together with you, the Devonshire Tennis Academy will be a place where a shared passion for sport and the wellbeing of our children is what unites us all.
